HELLO to Catherine!

A very BIG WELCOME to Landlink's new Administrator - Catherine O'Callaghan - who takes over from Veronica this month.
Catherine is a self motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and time management skills who thrives on a challenging and busy work environment. Her experiences include working with both private and public sector organisations and Catherine is well equipped in dealing with events as well as adminstrative issues.
Landlink members will be in very capable hands as it heads towards an exciting future and I hope you will give Catherine a resounding Landlink welcome when you meet her at the next General or Executive meeting.

She's Leaving ........

After 20+ years, Veronica Lawrance is leaving Landlink.  After joining Landlink in 1987, Veronica took 5 years out from 1996 to 2001 to work for HBF in the city pursuing a career in Public Relations and Marketing. She returned to Landlink in 2001 and has been communicating with members ever since.

Her knowledge of all things Landlink will be taken over by a new Administrator in July 2012, meanwhile Veronica will continue to be in the background until August at least.

"I've had a great many years with Landlink", she said, "but now its time for some new blood, new initiatives and new ideas to see Landlink into the future."
Veronica leaves to pursue an academic career tutoring in Communication in Business and Public Relations Principles at Curtin University whilst completing her Master of Philosophy Degree.

FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK

Landlink agents, partners and families attended the 13th Annual Conference of Landlink on Rottnest Island in May.

For those who attended, the exchange of knowledge and the fellowship that followed were the highlights of the long weekend.

Topical workshops on issues pertinent to all members of Landlink were of great value in this ever changing industry. It was my pleasure to facilitate topics such as:
  • Facebook Business Page
  • Twitter and blogging
  • Realestate.com
  • Auction processes
  • For Sale by Set Date
  • Vendor paid marketing
  • Growing your rent roll
  • Special Achievements 2011
Be sure to watch out for the 2013 Annual Conference - we promise great things to come!
